Ammo-10-DL Ammunition Quality Assurance (9E-F62/920-F29 (DL))
Description: This course is provided to personnel who perform ammunition surveillance functions as prescribed by DoDI 5160.68. Course content includes a comprehensive review of how ammunition is evaluated, classified, and managed throughout its lifecycle as well as technical training in the application of ammunition surveillance tasks including inspections, ammunition data cards (ADCs), condition codes, defect codes, and depot surveillance records (DSRs) for conventional and missile munitions. This course also includes an overview of the Munitions History Program (MHP). To learn more about the MHP system, you may register in ATRRS for Course Number 4E-F64/645-F48 (DL), Munitions History Program (MHP).
Audience: Wage Grade (WG) civilians, military ammunition inspectors, and others including Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) personnel who perform ammunition surveillance functions as prescribed by DoDI 5160.68 and DA Interns enrolled in Ammunition Management Career Program (CP)-33 as prescribed by AR 690-950.
Length: Approximately 2 hours (self-paced learning)
Special Information: This course is a web-based (online) course. Students must have web access and a CAC card. Students must register through ATRRS for course credit. A high-speed Internet connection is recommended to complete the course. Students such as contractors without a CAC, Local Nationals, and non-Army personnel without a full-use CAC must receive sponsorship in the ICAM system in order to complete training in the Army Learning Management System (ALMS).
