Description: This course provides technical personnel with a basic knowledge of land mines. This course defines various terms related to land mines and identifies the types, components, purpose, and safety hazards of mines currently used in the Army.

Audience: This course is intended for those who require a fundamental understanding of land mines. Completion of Ammo-77-CPE-DL (Characteristics of Propellant and Explosives) is recommended.

Length: Approximately 2 hours (self-paced learning)

Special Information: This course is provided as a web-based course. Students must have web access, a CAC card, and an AKO account. Students must register through ATRRS for course credit. It is recommended that you have a high-speed Internet connection in order to view the course.
