Welcome to DAC Training
The Defense Ammunition Center and US Army Technical Center for Explosives Safety (DACTCES) provides worldwide support with technical expertise and training for munitions, explosives safety, and hazardous materials. DACTCES is the Center for Excellence for Munitions and Explosives Safety. The Directorate for Training provides ammunition-related training for Department of Defense (DOD) military and civilian personnel through mobile training teams, regional training sites, and distance learning.
The ALMS will be offline for maintenance at the hosting data center on Wednesday, 23 NOV 2016 from 1900 until 2300 EST. Please plan your work accordingly.
For Credit Courses (ALMS Links)
All 'For Credit' final course exam links have now been changed to direct you to the FY17 offerings. If you have previously tried to register for an exam over the weekend and had issues getting registered, please re-register for the exam in ATRRS and the system will work like it is supposed to.
DAC is required by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller (OASA [FM&C]) to collect tuition fees for the training of DOD contractors. Tuition charges cannot be waived. The tuition varies based on the specific course.
- One check per student made payable to the "Treasurer of the United States".
- Pages 1 and 2 of the Standard Form 182 for each student which includes:
- Student Name
- Course Number / Title
- Class Location
- Class Dates
- A signed statement for each contractor student from the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) indicating that the training is required to fulfil a specific government contract.
Both of the completed forms and the check must be given to the course instructor on the first day of class. Credit card cannot be accepted. Tuition prices for DOD contractors:
